Mi window, my rules

The 14th March of 2020 the State of Alarm was declared in Spain due to COVID-19. Since then, tension and concern were rising uncontrollably among the population, the measures were becoming more and more extreme and It was only allowed to go outside to buy supplies or to walk the dog (if you had a dog), so the windows and balconies became the only safe connection to the outside.

In this way, a new phenomenon emerges in the pandemic: "the balcony policemen.“ Some citizens have decided to adopt the role of authority and if, in their judgment, someone behaves erratically, they shout at them through the window or notify the police.

I decided to take the situation to the extreme and create my own rules under my window pointing with arrows the correct directions of walk (according to me). The experiment based on behaviour observation is documented through the presented video.

During months, the arrows were installed on Calle Casino of Madrid (Spain), and its degradation over time could be seen for months.
